No heroes . . .

no heroes means no curtain shock

what used to be common now appears great in contrast with the contagious faltering now

the real ones that remain:

• look you in the eye
• tell you the truth
• respect all as equals until reason to do otherwise
• confess fear so as to be free of it
• profess confidence so as to guide others
• invest love to become part of it
